It will take a lot mor than 4 to 6 weeks, I have been using steroid cream for 4 months now, the skin is thinner, and retracts most of the way down the head when hard. It used to just show the tip of the helmet. there was some scar tissue with me, as the skin was forcibly retracted as a child.
