Has anyone ever thought of the foreskin as an aid to healing? The fact that it keeps the glans wet might aid in recover from the iritation of intercourse. Also since the protected glans is more sensitive, it might make ejaculation faster. hence a man could service more men (or women) more frequently.
So true. As a gay man, I have had my fair share of skin damage from sexual encounters. The foreskin acts like a bandaid, covering and protecting the sensitive head. Urine is also very sterile when first released from the penis, and therefore keeps the penis head clean during the healing process. It is far better not to use cremes and lotions to assist healing, as the combined use of the foreskin and urine will heal most problems within 2 to 3 days. 
Unfortunately, this is so true that thousands and thousands of foreskins are purchased by great medical laboratories >:D to US hospitals >:D - that carry on performing routine circumcision on babies - because the skin - and its mucosa, let’s be clear ! - would have, according to a press article cited on NOCIRC or NOHARM websites, “interesting” healing and “cells development” virtues !.. 
Two young close friends of mine whose foreskins are very long otherwise, had problems on the head of their penis ; one had ripped off his frenulum that bled a lot, after having a too brisky intercourse with his grilfriend :00000015:.
The other one had his bride slightly injuring the head of his penis with her teeth 
while having oral sex with him.
I advised both of them to have their injuries cared and protected with some antiseptic cream on a small piece of cloth inserted between their scar and their foreskin and to avoid sex during 2 or 3 days. But they preferred to have their foreskins directly covering the injuries and to carry on having daily gentle :hump: sexual intercourse with their chicken. Both of them told me that everything was OK 8) in the following days…
