As I get older after a shower of body and penis I have begun to rub in a drop of ky or a dab of vit E cream on my glans (eemm nice too) before moving the foreskin up for the day. Prior years I used a little spit as an under foreskin lube to keep the penis comfortable for the day. I’ve never enjoyed a dryness and dragging between the glans and underside of the foreskin, hence keeping it lubed. Too, usually spit is a good lube for jacking off but I sure enjoy the use of lubes for an erotic masturbation. What is you guys experience(s).

I personally don’t put anything on my glans. But you are right, after a shower and a good cleaning, once everything dries and I later try to skin my foreskin back, the dryness makes the skin sorta stick to the glans which hurts to peel off. But I have a lot of foreskin, so there really is no daily unpleasant friction there at all unless I make it myself.
As for jacking off, my skin is long enough usually when I do it, I don’t even have to pull it all the way back , there’s a lot of freedom to move while everything is still in the foreskin. But, even so, I do still like to do it, and my precum is usually in ample enough quantity to have thoroughly lubed my glans just while I’ve been getting hard before much stroking even starts. But I have a lot of precum, I think. Sometimes if I’m just browsing porn or something, I’ll get myself a big dark wet spot in my boxers where my foreskin has been leaking.

I’m 57 and don’t have any problem with a dry glans. My skin is loose, so no problems retracting ever. I use spit for lube when topping someone - don’t like most lubes.
I like to keep my glan dry, it helps to keep the smegma down and keeps it desensitized. If I add lube of any sort and with a very long overhang, I can feel my glan slip and slide inside the foreskin when I walk. This adds pre-cum that adds more sensation roughout the day. It’s a nice feeling but it adds lots of distraction. By the end of the day I end up with one soaked, slippery mess retained inside my foreskin.
Never use lube except when fucking…foreskin is a great substitute.
